During a visit to Nowshahr Port, Younesi inspected ongoing port activities, including cargo loading and unloading operations, as well as the progress of the access road construction.
Emphasizing the strategic importance of the project, Younesi stated that the new access route will play a vital role in developing transport infrastructure. It is designed to streamline truck movements and significantly reduce the traffic burden on the city of Nowshahr.
"With the commissioning of this route, heavy vehicle traffic in urban streets will be reduced," Younesi explained. "This will not only smooth out traffic flow but also enhance the satisfaction of citizens by reducing noise and congestion in residential areas."
The Governor highlighted the favorable progress of the construction, noting that there are no significant obstacles remaining to complete the project. According to the established schedule, the road is set to be fully operational during Government Week.
During the visit, Saeid Kiyakjoori, Director General of the Mazandaran Ports and Maritime, provided a detailed report on the operational performance of Nowshahr Port and the current status of the access road project.
