Ruhollah Shaolya, Deputy for Economic and Port Affairs at Hormozgan Ports and Maritime directorate, announced a series of coordinated actions implemented at Shahid Rajaee port during the conflict period. He highlighted that leveraging rail transport capacity, accelerating the clearance of imported and transit vehicles, and managing cargo distribution across the port were among the key successful measures executed through collaboration with various agencies.

Shaolya explained that a major initiative during this period was the use of rail transport to expedite the transport of raw materials needed by the country’s factories. In coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways, two ships were unloaded, and their cargo was sent directly via rail to target provinces. This action played a crucial role in speeding up the supply of industrial raw materials and maintaining the production cycle.

The Deputy also emphasized the acceleration of clearance and movement for imported and transit vehicles as a significant achievement. With the efforts of relevant agencies and support from the judicial system, the process was carried out with greater speed to protect the assets of cargo owners.

Shaolya concluded by acknowledging that the participation and cooperation of all relevant bodies, cargo owners, and private sector actors were instrumental in achieving the set goals and ensuring the smooth continuity of operations at Bandar-e Shahid Rajaee.
