NEW YORK (AP) _ ViacomCBS Inc.-A (VIACA) on Thursday reported first-quarter net income of $911 million.

On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had net income of $1.44. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.52 per share.

The company posted revenue of $7.41 billion in the period.

ViacomCBS-A shares have climbed 14% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
