NEW YORK (AP) _ SLR Senior Investment Corp. (SUNS) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $4.8 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The New York-based company said it had profit of 30 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment gains, came to 20 cents per share.
The business development company posted revenue of $6.6 million in the period.
SLR Senior shares have risen slightly more than 8% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $15.68, an increase of 34% in the last 12 months.
