OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) _ Yellow Corporation (YELL) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $63.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Overland Park, Kansas-based company said it had a loss of $1.26.
The trucking company posted revenue of $1.2 billion in the period.
YRC shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $9.56, increasing sixfold in the last 12 months.
