HUNT VALLEY, Md. (AP) _ Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. (SBGI) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $12 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Hunt Valley, Maryland-based company said it had a loss of 16 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 18 cents per share.
The television broadcasting company posted revenue of $1.51 billion in the period.
For the current quarter ending in July, Sinclair said it expects revenue in the range of $1.58 billion to $1.62 billion.
Sinclair shares have fallen slightly more than 1% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
