The session, hosted by the PMO, brought together key participants from both institutions, including representatives from the Economic Affairs and Regions Directorate, the Safety, Health, and Environment (HSE) Management, and senior officials from the Ministry’s Labor Inspection Directorate.

The agenda also covered several actionable initiatives designed to support these goals. Key topics included Organizing advanced training courses for PMO experts in labor inspection techniques; Establishing protocols for the issuance of labor inspector cards and certificates; Leveraging electronic platforms and systems from both agencies to streamline operations and Enhancing ties between provincial labor directorates and port inspection offices to ensure consistent enforcement nationwide.
Concluding the session, both organizations reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular expert-level meetings and closely monitoring the implementation of joint programs. The PMO stated that this collaborative approach, involving its Economic Affairs and Regions Directorate and HSE Management alongside the Ministry’s Labor Inspection Directorate, will remain a priority in the ongoing effort to create safer working environments in Iran’s ports.
