In these money-oriented life, people put high value on financial affaires. While many believe academic education can not undertake future professional, other argue universities provide new opportunities. In my opinion, universities  can more effective in the aspect of finding job.

On the one hand,  skilled persons benefit from financial independent. Compared to skilled person, student are less likely to be independent in a short-time because, for these persons, there is no time to dedicate work in times of educating. Indeed, after graduating, finding a suitable occupation is not easy for them. This is because, skilled person made up a major proportion of employment in companies and there is a fierce competition among university degree holders for specific jobs. For example, in the amazon, the greatest retailer in the world, more than 90 percent of workers have no university degrees. Moreover, communication skills are not tough in universities. These skill can be achieved out of experience in the labor market. So, students may struggle with sustainable communication with skilled person and even each other. That is why, they may be dismissed.

On the other hand, university degree holders are much more flexible in face of fundamental change. nowadays, automation put plenty of job in danger. AI are supposed to be replaced by many skilled persons but educating person are not threatened by new breakthroughs because they have an in-depth vision to scientific subject that can not be submitted by AI. moreover, they can immigrate to other countries because developed countries usually fund the expertise in different areas. Moreover, in the case of income, they are at advantages compared to skilled persons. For example, in CISCO companies, senior engineers make hundreds of thousands of dollars per year.

In conclusion, although skilled person are at the advantage in short term, in long-term, education’s pros outweighs the cons. I would highly recommend people to put high value on education
