HOUSTON (AP) _ Nine Energy Services Inc. (NINE) on Thursday reported a loss of $8.2 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Houston-based company said it had a loss of 28 cents. Losses, adjusted to extinguish debt, came to 85 cents per share.

The oilfield services company posted revenue of $66.6 million in the period.

The company’s shares closed at $2.10. A year ago, they were trading at $1.12.
