WILDLIGHT, Fla. (AP) _ Rayonier Inc. (RYN) on Wednesday reported first-quarter profit of $10.8 million.

The Wildlight, Florida-based company said it had net income of 8 cents per share.

The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 8 cents per share.

The forest products company posted revenue of $191.4 million in the period.

Rayonier shares have risen 25% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $36.74, a climb of 55% in the last 12 months.
