SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ Xperi Corp. (XPER) on Wednesday reported first-quarter profit of $5.3 million.
The San Jose, California-based company said it had net income of 5 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and non-recurring costs, were 59 cents per share.
The provider of chip technology for small electronic devices posted revenue of $221.6 million in the period.
Xperi expects full-year revenue in the range of $860 million to $900 million.
Xperi shares have fallen nearly 5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $19.89, an increase of 35% in the last 12 months.
