BARCELONA, Spain (AP) _ Grifols SA (GRFS) on Tuesday reported earnings of $156.7 million in its first quarter.

The Barcelona, Spain-based company said it had profit of 23 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 21 cents per share.

The biopharmaceutical company posted revenue of $1.43 billion in the period.

Grifols shares have decreased almost 2% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased almost 10% in the last 12 months.
