MP MENASHE, Israel (AP) _ CaesarStone Sdot-Yam Ltd. (CSTE) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $14.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Mp Menashe, Israel-based company said it had net income of 41 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 42 cents per share.

The maker of quartz surface slabs posted revenue of $146 million in the period.

CaesarStone shares have increased 12% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 40% in the last 12 months.
