THE WOODLANDS, Texas (AP) _ Sterling Construction Co. (STRL) on Monday reported first-quarter profit of $10.6 million.
On a per-share basis, the The Woodlands, Texas-based company said it had profit of 37 cents.
The civil construction company posted revenue of $315.3 million in the period.
Sterling Construction expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.46 billion to $1.49 billion.
Sterling Construction shares have risen 13% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $20.98, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
