WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ Curo Group Holdings Corp. (CURO) on Monday reported first-quarter net income of $25.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Wichita, Kansas-based company said it had profit of 59 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 69 cents per share.

The consumer finance company posted revenue of $196.6 million in the period.

Curo Group shares have increased almost 4% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $14.87, a climb of 89% in the last 12 months.
