CLEVELAND (AP) _ Nacco Industries Inc. (NC) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Cleveland-based company said it had profit of $1.25.

The small appliance maker posted revenue of $45.1 million in the period.

Nacco shares have fallen nearly 10% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $23.76, a decrease of 23% in the last 12 months.
