SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) _ GoDaddy Inc. (GDDY) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $10.8 million.
The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said it had net income of 6 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 31 cents per share.
The cloud-based technology products developer posted revenue of $901.1 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $885.4 million.
For the current quarter ending in July, GoDaddy said it expects revenue in the range of $920 million.
The company expects full-year revenue of $3.75 billion.
GoDaddy shares have decreased almost 1% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $82.24, a climb of 20% in the last 12 months.
