PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) _ Northwest Natural Holding Company (NWN) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $59.5 million.

On a per-share basis, the Portland, Oregon-based company said it had net income of $1.94.

The natural gas distributor posted revenue of $315.9 million in the period.

Northwest Natural expects full-year earnings to be $2.40 to $2.60 per share.

Northwest Natural shares have risen 18% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 13% in the last 12 months.
