CALGARY, Alberta (AP) _ Gran Tierra Energy Inc. (GTE) on Tuesday reported a loss of $37.4 million in its first quarter.

The Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents per share.

The oil and natural gas company posted revenue of $95.5 million in the period.

The company’s shares closed at 67 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 31 cents.
